High street stores are duping women into thinking they are slimmer – by up to 10cm.  A study by a made-to-measure clothing company, Tailored for You, is calling for standardised measurements to be enforced by legislation. The Director of ThinkSpa London, a psychologist, states that shops are well aware of how body-conscious we are and are playing on it

This is counter-productive from the Forum’s point of view. If people are getting larger but the sizing remains the same it lulls them into a false sense of security.
